Barbecue grills can be classified into gas barbecue and charcoal barbecue in the EU and US markets. EN 498, EN 484 & En 1860 would be the specific standard developed in the EU for barbecue grill testing, while ANSI Z21.58 in the U.S. market. These standards cover the construction, mechanical details, instructions and marking requirements for barbecue grills.
