Service Scope
Baby feeders are feeding utensils to be used to give solid food to babies. Sellers present them as a way to avoid choking hazard derived from solid foods when they are given to babies. They can also be filled with ice in order to help baby to relieve gum disease.
Usually baby feeder has a drop-in bag system. The food is inserted in a mesh bag or in a flexible container made of silicone with some holes. To use it, it is necessary to place the food bag into the retainer ring, place the food in the bag and screw the retainer ring tight, or lock it.
With the compliance of recommended testing, physical and safety requirements can be covered. The test will be conducted in compliance with the following standards
- EN 14350 (EU) standard
- EN1186 Food Grade standard
- Prop 65 court case (US California) standard
For children products in the US, additional testing shall be required:
- Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations
- CPSC Physical and mechanical test (US) standard
- CPSC Flammability to solid (US)
- CPSIA Total lead content (US)
- Tracking label (US)

Test Description
There are specific standards required to be tested for the compliance in the US and EU markets. Therefore, the following tests will be included in the US / EU market test package.
For items designed for children, CPSIA according to the U.S. regulation shall be performed in order ensure the safety requirements for children.

| Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations (US) | FDA registration is required for all facilities that manufacture, process, pack, or store food, beverages, or dietary supplements that may be consumed in the United States by humans or animals. Companies located outside the United States must designate a US Agent for FDA communications |
| CPSC Physical and mechanical Test (US) | Physical safety testing applied for items designed for children under 12 years of age or below |
| CPSC Flammability to solid (US) | Flammability testing applied for items designed for children under 12 years of age or below |
| CPSIA Total lead content (US) | Total lead content shall be tested according to CPSIA for children items |
| CPSIA Tracking label (US) | Tracking label shall be required on both product & packaging for children products |
| Prop 65 court case (US California) | Chemical testing according to US California Proposition 65. Specific court case will be selected. |
Remarks
Only applicable test items will be conducted on selected product nature and destination market. A detailed test item list will be included in order confirmation email upon order purchase. If the battery is included, additional battery requirements shall be arranged.
