Service Scope
A hair dryer / straightener is an essential in almost every household, and many people use this appliance daily. It’s important to be aware of the safety risks during purchase & usage.
In the European Union, IEC 60335-1 deals with the safety of electrical appliances for household and similar purposes, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances and 480 V for other appliances including direct current (DC) supplied appliances and battery-operated appliances.
This service ensures the mechanical strength of these products during simulated free falls while in use under normal conditions.

Remarks
Only applicable test items will be conducted on selected product nature and destination market. A detailed test item list will be included in order confirmation email upon order purchase.
Turnaround time (TAT) and service price are subjected to the content specified in the service scope and feature. Failure to provide test-ready samples or application documents would cause a longer period of TAT. TAT is subjected to the successful receipt of all necessary ready-for-testing samples and other materials (if any).
