Service Scope
Watches are considered prolonged skin contact products in the U.S. and Europe. Therefore, all safety testing shall be complied with. RoHS shall be also required for digital watches.
In case the watches are designed for children (<12 years of age), CPSC/CPSIA children’s requirements shall be required for related children’s safety requirements.
The test will be conducted in compliance with the following standards
- REACH Regulation
- Nickel Release
- Lead
- Organotin
- SCCP
- REACH PAHs
- Phthalates
- Cadmium
- Prop 65
- Court Case
- RoHs
- for Digital watches only
For children’s products in the US, additional testing shall be required:
- CPSC Physical and Mechanical Test
- CPSC Flammability to solid
- CPSIA Total Lead content
- Tracking Label

Test Description
There are specific standards required to be tested for compliance in the US and EU markets.
For items designed for children, CPSIA according to U.S. regulation shall be performed to ensure the safety requirements specific to children.

| RoHS (EU) | To determine the electronic product being sold in the EU comply with the EU RoHS restricted substances requirements (2011/65/EC and its amending directive (EU) 2015/863). |
Remarks
Only applicable test items will be conducted on selected product nature and destination market. Detailed test item list will be included in order confirmation email upon order purchase. If the battery is included, additional battery requirements shall be arranged.
