Service Scope
Weak fabrics and seams break or abrade easily and shorten the lifespan of garment. Worse could be causing embarrassment of wearer which brings distrust and complaints from customer.
SGS’s strength test package consist of a set of most common strength evaluation criteria for textiles. The tests will also be repeated before and after wash to assess any possible deterioration of fabric strength after care.
Please choose product type according to the intended sample being finished garment or raw fabric swatches. More criteria like seam performance will be assessed on finished garment.
Tests are conducted as received stage. If you have specific concern on the weakening effect brought by repeated washing, please contact us for your expected number of wash or refer Durability Test Package – Ultra strength as a suggested option.

The test items will be adjusted depending on the marketplace and actual sample.
Remarks
The test items will be adjusted depending on your product type and age range. Only specific test items will be applied to selected product type, test type and destination market. Detailed test item list will be included in order confirmation email upon purchase.
