Service Scope
For Europe market, only chemical testing is mandatory and the test will be conducted in compliance with the following requirements.
- REACH Regulation
- Azo Dye
- Chromium (VI) content
- Dimethyl Fumarate (DMFu)
- Pentachlorophenol (PCP)
- Cadmium content
- Lead content
- Organotin
- Phthalates
- SCCP
- REACH PAH8 Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs)
- Substances of very high concern (SVHCs)
For the US market, only chemical testing is mandatory and the test will be conducted in compliance with the following requirements.
- Prop 65 court case (US California) standard
- Total Lead content
- Total Cadmium content
For physical testing, SGS recommends to focus on the performance of luggage. It covers strength, color fastness, water repellence, corrosion & fiber content.

Test Description
There are specific standards required to be tested for compliance with the US and EU markets. Therefore, the following tests will be included according to the US / EU market test package

Remarks
Only applicable test items will be conducted on selected product nature and destination market. A detailed test item list will be included in order confirmation email upon order purchase. If the battery is included, additional battery requirements shall be arranged.
