Service Scope
There is specific EU standard designed for metal kitchenware in physical testing – BS EN 12983-1. Apart from physical testing, EU chemical testing shall be complied with regulation (EU) No 10/2011 (EN 1186).
In the US market, although there are no specific requirements for metal kitchenware, chemical testing according to U.S. FDA and CA Prop 65 shall be considered.
The test will be conducted in compliance with the following standards
- EN 12983-1
- Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 (EN 1186)
- FDA
- Prop 65 Court Case (US California) Standard

Test Description
There are specific standards required to be tested for compliance in the US and EU markets. Therefore, the following tests will be included according to the US / EU market test package. SGS also will perform different performance testing listed below. The testing is used to show to buyers/consumers how your product performs in different aspect of the performance.

Companies located outside the United States must designate a U.S. agent for FDA communications. |
| Prop 65 court case (US California) | Chemical testing according to US California Proposition 65. Specific court case will be selected. |
Remarks
Only applicable test items will be conducted on selected product nature and destination market. Detailed test item list will be included in order confirmation email to upon order purchase. If the battery is included, additional battery requirements shall be arranged.
